MEET OUR TEACHERS

At Seven Chakras Yoga Studio, our teachers bring passion, experience, and a down-to-earth approach to every class.

Each member of our teaching team is here to support you on your journey, whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening an established practice.

REBECCA GULVIN 

Rebecca is the founder of Seven Chakras Yoga Studio and the heart behind its warm, welcoming community. Her vision was to create a space where everyone, no matter their background or experience, could feel comfortable and supported. With a deep passion for Ashtanga yoga, Rebecca has travelled the world to learn from renowned teachers including David Garrigues, Kino MacGregor, Ryan Spielman, and David Swenson. While she loves the strength and focus of high-powered practices, she equally values the slower, more restorative styles of yoga. Known for her down-to-earth approach and inclusive teaching, Rebecca is much loved by her students. You’ll find her leading Ashtanga: Power Yoga, Soft & Still (Yin), and Dynamic Hot Yoga.

KAREN DUNNE

Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her teaching, offering classes that are both accessible and deeply supportive. With a calm and nurturing approach, she specialises in helping students find modifications and alternatives that work for their individual bodies, making her classes ideal for those with injuries, mobility concerns, or beginners looking to build confidence. Karen teaches Yoga for Mobility and Foundations First, guiding students with patience, clarity, and warmth. Her sessions are often described as restorative, empowering, and full of wisdom.

AMY PARRIS

Amy first discovered yoga as a way to support her own mental health and quickly experienced the transformative benefits of the practice. Inspired by this journey, she went on to complete her teacher training so she could create classes that support others who may be navigating similar challenges. Warm and welcoming by nature, Amy makes everyone feel at ease from the moment they step onto the mat. She currently teaches Foundations First and Align & Flow, guiding her students with compassion, clarity, and encouragement.

ANNIKKI LAITINEN

Annikki teaches with a gentle, mindful approach that invites students to slow down, release tension, and reconnect with themselves. She leads Stretch & Release, a class designed to improve flexibility, ease the body, and create space in both body and mind. Believing that yoga is for every body, Annikki offers a safe and calming environment where students feel supported and cared for. Her down-to-earth guidance helps people leave class feeling centred, restored, and at peace.

IRINA WALSH

Although fairly new to teaching yoga, Irina draws on her many years of experience as a step teacher to bring energy, rhythm, and creativity to her classes. Her teaching style combines a strong focus on alignment with a passion for helping students feel both grounded and uplifted. Irina currently teaches Release & Realign, encouraging her students to move with awareness, explore their strength, and enjoy the process. Dynamic yet approachable, her classes make everyone feel included and inspired.
